Fruit trees, orchards and outdoor learning for healthier communities

Grown in Harmony CIC works with schools, community groups and sponsors to create long-term growing projects that support learning, wellbeing, biodiversity and community connection.

Through fruit tree planting, community orchards and hands-on horticultural activities, we help children and communities understand where food comes from, reconnect with seasonal growing and create spaces that can be enjoyed for years to come.

The fruit trees for these projects are grown by Grow Fruit Trees, with suitable varieties chosen for schools, community spaces and long-term growing success.

For Schools & Community Groups

We welcome interest from schools, home education groups, community organisations and local projects who would like to receive fruit trees or develop a growing space.

Projects may include:

  • Fruit trees for school grounds
  • Community orchard planting
  • Kitchen garden development
  • Outdoor learning spaces
  • Seasonal growing activities
  • Support with choosing suitable trees
  • Community planting days

These projects are designed to support outdoor learning, healthy eating, environmental awareness and stronger community connections.

For Sponsors & Project Partners

We are looking for sponsors and partners to help provide fruit trees, community orchards and outdoor learning opportunities for schools and community groups.By supporting Grown in Harmony CIC and Grow Fruit Trees, sponsors can help:

  • Increase access to green spaces
  • Support outdoor learning
  • Encourage healthy eating
  • Improve biodiversity
  • Create lasting community assets
  • Connect children and communities with nature
  • Help protect rare and heritage fruit varieties

Whether you would like to sponsor a single tree, support a community orchard or partner with a larger growing project, we would love to hear from you.

Why Fruit Trees?

Fruit trees are a lasting investment in education, health and the environment.

They provide children and communities with the opportunity to learn about food, seasons, pollinators, biodiversity and sustainable growing through real hands-on experiences.

A single fruit tree can become part of a school’s outdoor learning, a community’s shared space and a long-term source of seasonal food, wildlife habitat and environmental connection.

Growing Long-Term Community Impact

Our aim is to create growing projects that continue to benefit schools and communities year after year.

By working together, we can help create healthier, greener and more connected communities rooted in learning, wellbeing and sustainability.
