About
Grown in Harmony CIC was created to make a real and lasting difference in our communities.
Inspired by His Majesty The King’s book Harmony, we believe deeply that we must learn to live and grow in balance with nature — not against her. Nature gives us so much. When we respect natural systems, eat with the seasons, and grow food as nature intended — without unnecessary chemicals — we support not only our own wellbeing, but the health of the planet too.

We passionately believe that access to fresh, healthy food should never be limited by finances, postcode, or lack of knowledge. Fruit and vegetables should be accessible to everyone.
Small, incremental changes can lead to extraordinary results. A single fruit tree planted in the right place can feed families for decades. A small school orchard can spark curiosity, confidence and lifelong healthy habits.
That is why Grown in Harmony CIC works alongside schools and community groups to:
- Donate fruit trees
- Provide practical training and horticultural knowledge
- Support the creation of thriving community orchards
- Empower people to grow and enjoy their own fresh produce
We don’t just plant trees — we share the knowledge and skills needed to nurture them, so communities can quite literally enjoy the fruits of their labour.
Food poverty and deprivation are real and growing challenges. By creating community orchards, improving growing facilities in schools, and offering expert guidance, we are determined to help shift the story. When children are involved in growing food and have access to fresh produce, they are far more likely to develop healthy, positive eating habits for life.
The benefits go far beyond nutrition. Gardening and horticulture support emotional wellbeing, build confidence, encourage outdoor activity and strengthen community connection. The physical activity involved improves fitness and resilience. Fresh food lightens both the waistline and the weekly food bill, reducing reliance on expensive processed alternatives.

And it is good for the planet too.
Fruit trees absorb and store carbon dioxide as they grow, helping to reduce atmospheric CO2 and combat climate change. They improve soil health, support biodiversity, provide habitat for wildlife and contribute to cleaner air and greener communities.
At Grown in Harmony CIC, we believe that when we work in harmony with nature, we create healthier people, stronger communities and a more sustainable future.
Together, small changes can grow into something extraordinary.
